Reverse Transcription
peqGOLD AMV Reverse Transcriptase has its temperature optimum at 42 °C and is still working at temperatures up to 58 °C making it suitable for transcribing of RNA templates with strong secondary structures.
peqGOLD M-MULV Reverse Transcriptase (RNase H-, Del) has been genetically modified to remove the associated RNase H activity through deletion. It is suitable for preparation of long DNAs (> 5000 b).
peqGOLD M-MULV (RNase H-, Point Mutant) is an RNA-dependent DNA polymerase that can be used in cDNA synthesis with long RNA templates (>5000 b). M-MLV RT (H-, Point Mutant) gives higher yields of cDNA compared to the deletion mutant.
peqGOLD M-MULV (RNase H+) can be used in almost all cDNA synthesis applications. However, with long cDNAs RNase H may cause degradation of template RNA. The RNase H activity is weaker than the usually used Avian Myeloblastosis Virus (AMV) reverse transcriptase.
